Your Ceremony Includes . . .

A personal two hour complimentary consultation on a date and time of your
choosing. If it is difficult for you to meet in person, you may also choose to arrange
a telephone consultation by emailing Reverend Rhoda your telephone number.
You will be contacted as soon as possible, but definitely within 24 hours.

In any event, all the many questions you may have will be answered.
NO WEDDING DAY SURPRISES!

You can always be assured of a response within 24 hours
of receiving any correspondence from you, albeit email, telephone or fax.
Communication is of vital importance in order to remain as stress free as possible.
You may also consider Marriage Counseling with Reverend Rhoda, 
but it is not required. 

In order to Reserve and Guarantee your chosen date and time
of your Wedding and/or Rehearsal, a 50% deposit is required
and is subject to the availabity of that date and time
from the time your deposit is received.

Example: Another couple wants the same date and their
deposit is received first.
The remaining 50% balance will become due on or before

10 days prior to your Wedding Day. The day your 50% deposit
is received, you will be sent a Deposit Receipt
together with the following three sets of documents:

A Wedding Ceremony Checklist 

This is a wonderful tool to help keep organized and comfortable with the
myriad of minute details that are involved in your wedding ceremony.
Special requests are always welcomed and encouraged!

     Twenty-Seven pages of Readings and Vows  
All readings and Vows samples can be edited by you if you wish to add, delete, or
mix and match any words, phrases or sentences. You are also encouraged to
choose any readings other than those sent to you.  If you wish to write your own
personal vows, Reverend Rhoda will be happy to assist you. This gives you the opportunity to best relate your own personalities and feelings.

"Your Story" Questionnaire 
The questionnaire consists of 5 general relationship questions for you and your fiancé
to review and allows you the opportunity to decide if you would like to answer all or any of the five questions.  However, having your answers allow Reverend Rhoda the opportunity to totally personalize "YOUR STORY". That story becomes the catalyst that conveys to your families and friends the many reasons you are making a lifetime commitment to one another.

Most Importantly!
Upon Rev Rhoda receiving all the information necessary to create a truly personalized Wedding Ceremony, she will begin to create the first draft.  As soon as the first draft is completed, it will be sent to you for your review and you then have the opportunity to make any additions, deletions or changes. This eliminates any pre-ceremony stress you may have regarding the entire content of your ceremony.  Your Wedding Ceremony will not be considered final until you are ready to say....

Wedding Package
Following the conclusion of your ceremony, you will be presented a complete
Wedding Ceremony Package which includes the following:
A cream colored ribboned Pochette which contains a commemorative copy of every word of your Wedding Ceremony printed on beautifully embossed cream colored stationery. Also included is a commemorative copy of your License and Certificate of Marriage suitable for framing with matching cream colored embossed stationery.

Licensing Information

Please inform Reverend Rhoda if you are considering applying for a
"Confidential Marriage License".  A Confidential Marriage License
has some legal, clerical and fee differences from the standard
License and Certificate of Marriage License as listed below.

In order for your License and Certificate of Marriage to be legally recorded upon conclusion of the Wedding Ceremony, California law requires a Wedding Officiant to mail or hand deliver to the County that originated the Original License and Certificate of Marriage within ten days of the wedding ceremony.  The Wedding Officiant must send it directly to the same County that issued the License and Certificate of Marriage, regardless of the County you have chosen to be married.  However, immediately following your wedding ceremony, you are given a copy of your License and Certificate of Marriage that has been signed by Reverend Rhoda and the one or two witnesses you have chosen.  Only one witness is required; however, there are two places for two witnesses to sign.  When you originally apply to any California County for a License and Certificate of Marriage, they will also supply you with an application you must complete if you wish to obtain a CERTIFIED COPY of your License and Certificate of Marriage. (There may be institutions that require a Certified Copy, i.e. passport, etc.) If you choose to order one or more Certified copies, the various California Counties charge a fee that ranges from $13.00 to $18.00 per copy. Upon receipt of your application and fees, your ordered Certified Copy will be mailed to you by the County approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the date the County received your fee and application.  Please contact the County that issued your License and Certificate of Marriage for any possible changes that may have been made, or possible other arrangements that may be able to be made.
Always confirm all information with the County that issued your Marriage Certificate.

Rehearsals

Your rehearsal includes the following:
1 to 2 hour rehearsal no more than 2 days prior to your ceremony.
A complete Wedding Party Processional/Recessional and
Placing (who will be standing where) and Music Cue Sheets
for your musicians and/or D.J.
Rehearsal of any wedding ceremonial readings such as
Unity Candles, Presentations, etc.
For planning purposes, please inform Reverend Rhoda of the number of all those
who will be 'walking down the aisle' ceremony location and number of guests.
Your Wedding rehearsal truly ensures you and your Wedding Party peace of mind,
knowing your ceremony will be flawless and all stress factors alleviated.

Recommendation Service for Small or Large Weddings

Regardless of whether you are having a small or large wedding, please
take advantage of the 23 years Reverend Rhoda and family have lived and loved the Greater Palm Springs Area.
Reverend Rhoda will recommend the finest Wedding Professionals
from Bakeries to Videographers and will be happy to assist you in contacting them directly.  Again - NO WEDDING DAY SURPRISES!

Travel . . .(if necessary)

Included in your Ceremony and/or Rehearsal is travel to a location
within 25 miles of the Palm Springs, California area. Should
your location be beyond 25 miles, a determination of
any additional travel expense will be made during your initial consultation.
